What Is Forex
Forex, or Foriegn Exchange is a market where one nations currency is exchanged for another currency. Nearly $2 Trillion is traded daily on the Forex markets making it the largest financial market in the world. This is 3 times the amount of U.S. Equity and Treasury markets combined. The Forex market is unique in that it has no physical location and no central exchange. It operates through a global network of banks, corportations and individuals trading onen currency for another. Since Forex markets do not have and actual physical exchange of currency, it is able to operate 24 hours a day, spanning form one time-zone to another in all the major financial centers.
